Career Overview- Dr. Ebo Hammond has over 28 years experience in the logistics and transport field, particularly as applies in the public sector. Dr. Hammond has been very instrumental in the phenomenal growth and development of professional education in logistics and transport in Ghana through The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport’s (CILT) professional courses in over fourteen accredited universities, Institutes and Polytechnics. He was an Adjunct Lecturer (2004-2014), teaching logistics and supply chain management, transport, marketing and strategy at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and now a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Ghana, teaching logistics, transport and health services management.
Academic Profile- Among his key academic repertoire, Dr. Hammond holds a BSc. Degree in Business Administration (University of Ghana Business School); an Edinburgh MBA (University of Edinburgh Business School-United Kingdom), and a PhD in Health Policy and Management (University of Ghana Business School). He also holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing-United Kingdom.
Professional Profile- Dr. Hammond is a Chartered Fellow of the CILT, a Full Member (ProM) of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana, and a Member of the Association of Health Service Administrators, Ghana.
Industry Leadership- Dr. Hammond is the Director of Health Administration and Support Services Division of the Ghana Health Service. He is a Governing Council Member of CILT Ghana as the Immediate Past President, having served as the President of the Institute from 2017 to 2021. He also served as a Member of the Ministerial Advisory Board of the Ghanaian Ministry of Transport from 2017 to 2020.
